Kobe’s food is great, but is not authentic. The portions are a little small but overall it is great food for a decent price. HOWEVER the service is awful, the people who work here are rude, I have had a woman try to start an argument with me on the phone while I was placing an order. They lost my business but I do miss the hokie sauce!

Overpriced and Bland. Had the steak and shrimp this evening for dinner. I got the extra Hokie Sauce per everyone’s recommendations, but I ended up not being that crazy about the sauce. The food was too far on the bland side for me, as well. I paid about $13.75 for the shrimp and steak meal (includes rice, carrots, broccoli, and mushrooms) and a drink. That price also included the $1 charge for extra Hokie Sauce. Next time I want to spend that much on oriental food, I’ll head over to Sake House where you get a lot more quality and quantity.
…i want that damn secret HokieSauce recipe. HAHHA! good food, even the carrots, topped with Hokie Sauce = HEAVEN
