The pizza was excellent, beer was flowing and the beards were long! London Underground is truly a Blacksburg experience, with the dart board and the local population. It is a college town, so that type of population is to be expected, but for us it didn’t matter and didn’t take away from a friendly, enjoyable experience.
Lovely!. The Pub is great. The breakfast have to be the best food items they serve, points for local meat too! At night, the atmosphere is great; lots of people drinking and having a good time. The bartenders are always friendly and quick. The only thing I would change would be the seating. I wish there was more of it and not barstools…but the logistics prevent that, so it’s not too bad.
Great breakfast. Came here when I was in undergrad all the time and enjoyed their food, just finished up grad school and brought my family here for breakfast before graduation and everyone enjoyed the food and hanging out here. Their english muffins are awesome! and the bacon was real bacon not the microwaveable kind and the sausage got rave reviews
A Classic. London Underground has been here a long time (over 20 years), and that is part of the charm. It is as great as the day it opened. They have a great beer selection, and this is where I cut my teeth on great beer. The good, simple bar food is always an excellent compliment to the great beer they serve. It is also a great place to throw darts.
New look, great food, and even brunch!. This once hole in the wall, almost seedy little restaurant has gotten a facelift!The food, the drinks, the service – all 5 out of 5!I’m in love with Sunday brunch. There are a few options in Blacksburg for brunch, and the Pub (or Underground) is at the top of my list!
