Stopped here for lunch on a Saturday. It’s easy to drive right by, it’s in the middle of nowhere. The interior is a bit confused, it doesn’t know what it wants to be. Ambiance is definitely not a strong point. But that doesn’t matter. It’s all about the perfectly seasoned fried chicken. Fresh mashed potatoes and gravy. Homemade mac n’ cheese and fresh string beans that have been on the stove slow cooking all day long. Frozen but really good and perfectly fried french fries. The service is very friendly. They seem to do a lot of take-out. Lots of BBQ and fried chicken being picked up to go. I spoke with the owner and she’s really passionate about serving good, home cooked food. Can’t wait to come back.
