I have had Better. Won ton soup was good. But yes the 2 foot high piles of newspaper is far from quaint. And the greasy slippery dining room floor is still not as greasy as the food. To bad the old couple hasn’t passed the place on to some one who wants to still cook.
Better than happy star. I love Chinese food and i would eat it everyday if i could. When i ordered from other Chinese restaurants in the area i was not as satisfied as i was with china sun.
Good Food. I usually have the same thing whenever I go and the staff is very nice. Soon as I walk in the door they know exactly what I want. I would not say it is the best Chinese restaurant I have eaten at but it is Good.
Not even the basics. My family and I ate there and the immediate sight of old newspapers piled high near the counter should have clued us about the quality of the food. Everything was very greasy and they can’t even get the basics to be palatable. The Lo Mein and Beef & Broccoli were paltry in quantity and gummy in taste. It seems that basic cooking skill is lacking and those we commented positively may need to have their horizons expanded to include good, fresh American Chinese food. It is difficult to write this critique as the owners are very nice people yet should not be running a restaurant.
Great!. I was a little worried about the one negative review but I was passing through Bristol and really was hungry for american style chinese food. I thought it was excellent and a bargain! I had delicious non-greasy spring rolls and home style tofu which had well cooked fresh vegetables and a nicely spiced sauce. The menu looked wonderful! Lamb! Duck! wish this place was in my home town. Nice owners and staff as well.
A Regular Customer. This is as good as Chinese food gets. I’ve eaten Chinese all over the country. It is very reasonably priced and the owners are very nice. I can’t understand how anyone could give this restaurant a negative review but you know how the restaurant business is !
Horrible experience. Not worth spending a dime on their food. Chef needs to re-train or find another profession
