My family and I have been eating at this restaurant for the past 20+ years. What keeps us coming back? The fact that it is a family run business. The genuinely act happy to see return customers, and will say hello when you run into them out in the community. The food is always top notch. Some Chinese buffets use pre-made frozen food, or packaged meal bought in bulk. Double Dragon does neither. The open kitchen is easy to see into while picking up your order, or when you pay foryour eat in meal. Over the past 20 years I have probably seen every item on the menu being made from scratch right before my eyes. The taste is amazing, always using the proper recipes, never taking Americanized shortcuts.My favorites are the fried dumplings, which are always prepared perfectly, and the crab Rangoon. The texture of the Rangoon can often vary by restaurant, but double dragon has it down pat. Light and crispy, full of creamy and tasty filling, it is a family favourite. My daughter requested their dumplings while she lay in the hospital giving birth to my twin granddaughters. It’s that good!
