A mixed review. Delicious crab bisque, creamy and sherried. My flounder stuffed with crab on sherried farrow was a delight; fresh flounder and abundant crab. The baby bok choy served with it was tasty but tough, almost too tough to cut with a knife. Was told by the two with crab cakes that the crab cakes were nice, but the polenta cake served with them was dry and underseasoned (verified). The scallops on pasta was tasty, said another friend, but the feet had been left of two of the large four scallops. A few crab shells were discovered. Menu was tough for my vegan friend who also has a shellfish allergy. Servers failed the dismount, as receiving the checks, and then getting the processed cards and cash seemed to take forever. However otherwise servers were pleasant and attentive. A bit uneven and needs work, but that stuffed flounder dish is worth the effort.
Bistro Nights – Amazing Experience. On Bistro Nights they served up amazing food. I had creative Grilled Endive & Radicchio Salad with water melon and blue cheese and Seared Tuna Sashimi in sesame oil over homemade rice noodles with soy-hoisen chili sauce. Tuna was fresh and the sauce was just right. My husband had Chesapeake Crab Bisque and Pan Seared Beef Tenderloin with cognac, wild mushroom and green peppercorn glaze. He really liked it, too. The chef was very attentive and I could tell he was really enjoying serving up creative dishes. The price was very reasonable for the intricate food. We will definitely return to Cape Charles for this restaurant.

Stopped for take out first night in town. Staff was really nice and helpful, giving details on town & things to do. Pizza was average, had two sandwiches too, also average. Very pricey, over $40. Don’t know that we’ll be back while here.
We paid $44 for two pizzas and it was bad and extremely dry. There was no soap in the men’s bathroom and our pizza was siting on the oven for 15 minutes after it was ready to be served. We were never checked on. We waited 47 minutes. It wasn’t worth the wait. Avoid.
