I used to like this place, came here tonight and the quality had gone down quite a bit. Ordered she crab soup, it was severely lacking in crab and had little bits of flour chunks in every bite( I am assuming it was from the rue base). Service was poor.
My wife and daughter and I had a great lunch here today. The oysters in my po’boy had just the right amount of saltiness and were perfectly cooked — tender on the inside, lightly fried on the outside. And the sweet tea was delish!
Great atmosphere in this intimate converted old bank. The food was great, although we were starving upon arrival. Only turn off was a tat-chested server (which the wife thought was highly inappropriate) with too much attitude. There must be a professional in the kitchen, but it did not carry through to our server. Thank goodness the food was good!
Stumbled across this place. It’s wonderful. Great service and fantastic food. Don’t not try the She Crab soup.
We were excited to eat here until they told us 1hour wait at an off hour??really! There a nobody else here? Family staying at CherryStone and looking for fun casual meal… ??!Goto the Shanty
Very disappointed in our lunch. Have been here twice in the past for drinks and had a good time but this was our first dining experience. The food lacked flavor and the service was below par.
I won’t be back. The decor and decorations had me fascinated and wanting to see more however the service was terrible. The hostess told us she reserved us a table but it would be a half hour wait. We came back in a half hour to find our table taken by another group and were forced to wait another 10 minutes to be seated. Sitting at the bar the bar tender told us which seats we could and could not sit at. There are four of us and she offered us two. After being seated at our table we waited another hour! Our food had not even arrived and we had had enough. We left the waitress reappeared and gave my uncle a hard time about the check. Sweetheart I don’t care a bout a check for food we won’t receive for another 80 years.
