2pm Sunday 4/19/15, party of 7. I would not recommend this place. Service was very slow and unprofessional, although the waitress seemed attentive toward her guy friend. The food was not very good; coffee was warm; the last pot tasted burnt. We are an Italian family, and this Italian food was not good. On top of that, they added a 20% automatic gratuity, which the waitress absolutely did not earn. We will not be returning.

Disappointed for the first time here. Came to the restaurant at 5:45 PM. There were clearly 10-15 tables available. We were told there was a two hour wait when no one was standing there. First time I’ve ever been disappointed at Bella’s. No attempt to make arrangements, only an apology and offer to seat usat 8:45 PM

Mediocre at Best. The food was slightly better than a TV dinner. The tiramisu was good. The salad caprese lacked salt, balsamic and olive oil. The Gorgonzola Chicken was OK, but not worth the money. The waiter was condescending and rushed us out of the restaurant. The cappuccino was like water, with no foam and at $5, was horrible. Tavola is the way to go. Skip Bella’s and save your money. Spend it at Tavola, where you can get real italian cuisine.

Amazing food, best since I left Italy! Authentic! Great staff as an added bonus!

Delicious Lunch. I went to Bella’s for lunch in the middle of the week. The restaurant was empty, however, the food was delicious! The lunch menu had appetizers, salads, and panini options. The waitress warned us that the serving size for the panini was large and that we would not need an appetizer with it. I ordered the eggplant parmesan panini. It was served on large piece of thin bread. I ate half of it and took the other half to go. I suggest ordering the panini though, they are really good. Also, the paninis are served with a side salad. The side salad was nothing fancy, but it was still tasty. The other two people that I was with ordered paninis also. They both loved the taste of them too. I definitely suggest Bella’s for lunch– the service was good and the food was delicious. I am looking forward to trying it for dinner in the near future!

Decent food BUT. I liked the food at Bella’s for the most part. The gorgonzola grilled salad was good, as were the meatballs and the porchetta. The pasta — not so good. And the sauce was a tad watery. The family style portions are enormous, so order half as much as they encourage you to order. The dishes that the waiter tells you serve two actually serve at least four. The real problem with this place is the wait staff — and the seating. Don’t get me wrong — service is efficient. TOO efficient. Our waiter was in a constant hurry to get us out of that restaurant as quickly as possible. OK, I understand they are in a hurry to turn over the tables, but don’t be so obvious about it. This guy was constantly trying to grab dishes off the table that were still half full of food — and from start to finish, with drinks, appetizers, and coffee we were barely in there an hour and ten minutes, so what on earth is the big rush about? Part of the secret of Italian dining is the pace of the meal, so I give Bella’s very low marks for that. Also, this waiter was constantly bellowing ON YOUR LEFT… ON YOUR RIGHT… BEHIND YOU… as he served our meal. As if we were running a track or something. I thought it was ridiculously rude. But the problem is, they have tried to pack as much seating into this place as possible to maximize profits. We were first offered a table by the toilets (I mean, two feet from the toilets, which smelled bad by the way — get some cleanser, folks). And when we declined that, we got a choice spot by the freezing doorway, which the waiter found challenging for service, and thus the shouted warnings. Part of this, I suppose is a tribute to the restaurant’s popularity, which I think is well deserved. But the true measure of a good restaurant is how well it copes with success. I wish Bella’s well and will give them another shot… probably on a summer week night.

Great food and service! Upscale twist on traditional Italian food! Ayo was the best!
