Stopped in here based on recommendations on here and and had a great meal to go. There was a line out the door, but they move really fast, don’t let it deter you. Prices are reasonable, service was very friendly, and the bagels were great. Had a poppy seed with roast beef and cheese, which I definitely enjoyed later that day.
I grew up on Bodo’s, and I always make an effort to go by when I’m in town. These are THE BEST bagels I’ve ever had, and I doubt you could find better New York style bagels in New York. I’m also fond of their rotating menu of amazing soups, as well as my all-time favorite chicken salad. You can’t beat the prices either. Nearly every trip I make to Charlottesville ends with at least a dozen bagels in my freezer! My sister believes in the Everything bagel for sobering up while visiting area wineries. 🙂
