  Overrated. The one time I had the (dis)pleasure of eating at this restaurant will also be my last. Were it not for the fact that most of my friends had overhyped this place and highly recommended it as the location of our weekend dinner, I would not have come, at all, and the meal simply confirmed my original, well-placed, suspicions regarding Caturra. To be fair, the appetizers were rather tasty, and one can feel that he or she may do no wrong with a platter of the cheese sampler, shrimp, or chips and spinach dip, which, despite its off-putting name, were quite delectable. However, the praise simply ends here. First, it took more than an entire hour for the entrees to be served, well after everyone had licked the appetizer plates clean and spotless. It makes me soft when I have to wait this long for my steak. Then, with regards to the actual dish, the filet mignon was too small, somewhat dry, and was not nearly well-seasoned enough to my personal liking. In other words, the quality is simply not there, and I will be sure to make a mental note to myself to not step foot into the restaurant again.

  First time for me. Service was outstanding and the waitstaff was very friendly. I had crabcakes and the presentation was beautiful. Food itself was OK, not super but OK. Reasonable price. We were upstairs which I liked since it was not as noisy and allowed for good conversation.

  Great place. Very good service and great food. The owner was there and very attentive, helping out his staff. Gave my kids some cookies for the road.
