Pony up the extra bucks for a deluxe slice with crazy toppings or don’t even bother. It is irksome to me that the quality of the most basic product on offer, quite frankly, sucks. The cheese and pepperoni slices are drowned in grease and soggy save for the crust. An extra sprinkle of mozzarella before going into the oven isn’t going to save that fact. One must go just a bit further down the Mall for a great slice, no matter what kind of pizza you are in the mood for.
Good pizza, tasty, crispy thin crust, inexpensive. Spartan dining room, not quite up to the ambiance of the Mall but you’ll feed the whole family a fabulous pie for the price of just one meal anywhere else.
Excellent Pizza by the Slice. They had some interesting combinations that I doubt I would have come up with, but when I saw them I knew they were going to be good. Very flavorful and the ingredients are top quality. I’m not overly impressed with the crust, but compare it to the cracker you use when you eat really good cheese, you want to enjoy the cheese so the cracker should not interfere with the taste. I’m thinking that since their sauce is so good as well as the cheeses they are afraid to add any extra flavor that might take away from the pizza.Don’t get me wrong, the crust isn’t bad, it is just what the flavors of the pizza ride on. By itself, meh, but with the sauces and flavors from the pizza you get an outstanding pizza. Maybe next time I’ll see if I could get a small cup of sauce to dip the crust to finish off the crust which hasn’t been hit with all the flavor.Great pizza, and an equally great price, and a chance to be daring and get a pizza combination that you never thought about. Worth a trip.
Unique pizza options are displayed already prepared to order by the slice as you wait in line. The best part about this place is that the pizza tastes even better than it looks. Highly recomend for anyone looking to enjoy a delicious slice of pizza!
Worst Pizza Ever. Person taking the order did not understand or speak much English. I took the advice of another reviewer and ordered a whole pie. It was barely baked, the crust was like cardboard. All the tables were dirty. Nasty. Would not recommend.
You can still feed the family for under $20. We highly recommend the tomato, basil and feta with the lightly sweetened tea.
Yum. Lots of choices – can still get only a slice – and great crust. The avocado topped pizza was incredible – my wife went back there for it the 2nd day we were there.
