Special eventt. Awesome food, nice atmosphere, also pricey. I had the swordfish special that was covered in a bacon chile pineapple sauce, and my husband had the filet and crab cake. All of these entrees were incredible! Very nice wine selection as well.
Wow!. Met friends there tonight….really wonderful! Ambience, food, wine, waitress! Really an amazing evening. Tuna tartare and calamari to start…excellent. Mixed greens and a tomato onion salad…fresh! Steaks all around (filet, strip, ribeye, fillet Oscar): every presentation perfect, cooked to perfection, tender! Mushroom, asparagus, and masher sides to share…delicious.
Good bet. Good food and excellent service located on the pedestrian street in downtown C’ville. The menu is a little pricey but you won’t regret it. It’s a good choice for adults or families who want to have a sit down dinner without the noise of the college crowd. Mussels,

Pricey, but tasty. Impressive wine list. Looove the wedge salad. My dad said the ribeye was awesome. Their spinach side order left something to be desired, but that is the only thing I have been underwhelmed with so far at the Downtown Grille.
Best steak in town. Great atmosphere and delicious food. The steak was the best I have EVER had, like butter it was so tender and flavorful. Absolutely worth the price for a quality upscale steak.
