Great Thai. I think this was the best Pad Thai in town. I’ve tried others and they’re either too greasy or bland. This one was excellent! Our server was very friendly – I will definitely be back.
Where’s the chicken and shrimp. I have eaten at Downtown Thai 5 or 6 times. The food was always very good. Recently I ordered shrimp and chicken pad tai. I am not kidding there were 2 very small shrimp and the chicken pieces were no bigger than a quarter and you had to search the meal to find them. I was very disappointed to say the least. There is no way I would have accepted this meal had I been seated! I won’t be back!

Late Night Craving. The dumpling appetizer is really delicious with a dipping sauce I could put on opossum and thoroughly enjoy!
My favorite Thai in Cville, super duper authentic food. Sometimes American-Thai has too much sugar in noodles and curries, but this place has nice balance. Easy to order your level of heat for every dish, too!
Great, fresh thai food with spice levels for ALL palates. Takeout is a tad bit expensive for what you get, but always quick and hot.
