While visiting Charlottesville, I wanted to check out Fig since everyone talks about it in DC. And yes this is one of the spots you need to try. Brunch is amazing. We had a table next to the window and ordered special which was absolutely delicious. As we finished with our brunch a car pulled up in front of Fig and staff went outside, i asked one of the servers why is every one going outside, and she responded those are our veggies from farmers market nothing but wonderful.
This is one of the best Brunch I had in Charlottesville.All of the food was very good and had good flavor. Wi will be back soon.Highly recommend Fig.
One of the best restaurants in Virginia. Brunch is amazing and staff is always polite. I had southern fry and it was one of the best meals I had in a long time, biscuits are superb.
Fun, quaint atmosphere. Family owned and it was obvious with the attentive and friendly service. We got bacon wrapped dates that were stuffed with goat cheese… So good. They were the best in town. I got the pierogis for dinner and they were freshly made in a fresh garlic cream sauce. The food was all very flavorful and fresh. It wasn’t as authentically Cajun as I wanted, since I lived in Louisiana for 2 years. It lacked spice, but overall was very good. Fine dining quality entrees for normal prices. Highly recommend.
Good food, lively atmosphere. We enjoyed eating at Fig. The food was good and the service was also. Lots of students. Nice atmosphere. Just a tad pricey for the kind of place it is, but not really out of line too much. I’d go there again.
Great food. Ribs cooking all day for dinner crowd, red beans and rice, and coming next Wednesday…. Pumpkin martini’s. I’ll def be there.
Good Cajun Food!. What a great find this restaurant was. Inexpensive prices, especially considering the generous servings. The atmosphere was festive with both outdoor and indoor seating. It is not a large place, has a lot of character and a down home feeling. All of the food was very good and had good flavor. The heat of the spicing was medium, but easily ramped up with big bottles of Louisiana Hot Sauce and Tabasco on your table. A really good and large dish was a fried catfish smothered with crayfish etouffee. The shrimp creole was good. The staff were very friendly and provided good service.
