Outstanding food, great menu selection, service maybe a little slow for the entree but otherwise attentive, courteous, and competent. Best top-shelf Margie ever! Lovely patio setting on the Mall for outdoor dining. A destination for every trip to Charlottesville.
Always Great …. Hamiltons’ is a neighborhood favorite that has a great menu which balances old favorites with seasonal and new dishes. The lunch is the greatest food bargain in town, especially the fantastic crab cakes. The only thing better than the food is the service. We’ll keep coming back.
Thank you for being open on a Mon night!. One of the few places open for dinner on the mall on Monday nights. We came in about 9:30 and were one of two tables, they close at 10:00, but we didn’t feel rushed at all. Really good service. Excellent food. Had the lamb sausage app, shrimp/grits, crabcakes, and homemade ice cream. Everything hit the spot.
