Spoiled by the Real Thing. Honestly, I just don’t get the alure of this place. I may be spoiled because I’ve been to a real New York deli. The food in this place is mediocre at best. From what I can tell nothing is fresh. This place is the place to go if it is 2AM and you can’t get into the White Spot to satisfy your drunken munchie fit.When I order a steak and cheese and the steak comes out of gelatinous tub of steak and grease and the cheese is melted under a salamander, you know this is not a true deli. Maybe it’s too much to expect fresh sliced meat and vegetables on my sandwich. This place is just an assembly line.Padows was the closest we had to a true deli, but alas, they are now closed.
