I’ve tried all Indian restaurants in C’ville and Milan definitely beats them all. Chicken Tikka Masala and Cheese Naan = heaven. Good stuff.
First experience. I took my daughter here for her first Indian food experience. The lunch buffet was overly spicy and the waiters did not do anything to remedy the situation. Better luck at another place, I guess.
Exceptional, friendly service. Everyone feels at home here. Large menu to suit all tastes. Everything we ordered was fresh and delicious. Will definitely come back!

Best Indian in Charlottesville. This is a fantastic restaurant – great food, and great service. They also offer great take-out service, which I use at least once a week.
Superb Indian food. I really love this place. The food is excellent, the portions just right. The tandoori meats are beautifully cooked, and the sauces are complex, not just super hot (although I am sure you can have food as hot as you like if you ask for it that way). The staff is very friendly and accommodating. We’ve ordered a variety of dishes here, including vegetarian and paneer dishes, and everything has been really terrific. There’s a good selection of Indian beers served very cold. And I even enjoyed one of the deserts a LOT — pistachio ice cream — although it is not very much like American ice cream, more like a cross between burfi (an Indian sweet) and condensed ice milk. Highly recommended if you enjoy Indian food.
My favorite lunch spot! Best Indian restaurant by far in this area!
