I haven’t been to the Nook in years and was excited to eat here again……I was really looking forward to their gravy fries. However, the gravy fries were terrible, the gravy tasted off, and looked like jello it was so thick. My boyfriend had the hamburger and it was average to poor at best; I had the chicken philly and it was alright, nothing to write home about. Our waitress was rude and inattentive, making for a poor experience which is a shame because I used to come here all the time and always enjoyed it. We won’t be returning!
Our food was dripping in grease. By the time I finished my grim breakfast burrito, my plate had a puddle of grease large enough to fry a few more eggs. My wife also got the Exxon-Valdez service with pools of cooking oil flowing from all surfaces of her omelette. The wait staff was really nice though and the coffee was good.
