No thank you. The worst service I have EVER experienced. I don’t think it’s supposed to take an hour and a half to prepare raw fish!! The women at the front had no respect for the customers either. I felt as if my being there was some sort of burden on them. Although the food was good, I didn’t have much time to enjoy it because I so foolishly assumed 2 hours would be more than enough time for dinner–apparently not! I highly doubt I’ll be back
Our New Date Spot!. My partner and I visited Now & Zen yesterday on our date night. We were a little skeptical about trying somewhere new…but I’m so glad we did!!! Here’s the low down: It was very obvious that the chef (s) took pride in their work, beautiful cuts of fish, great service, great prices and a cozy romantic environment. We have officially found our new sushi dive….and we hope they are here to stay!

This little gem is tucked away, but it’s worth your effort to find it. I ordered 2 sushi rolls, which was easily enough for 2 or 3 people. They were huge! They were beautiful! They were so meticulously put together that I hated to destroy them. But the smell was so seducing I couldn’t resist. The sweet potato tempura in my Green Giant Roll was delicious & interesting to say the least. The salmon in my Spicy Salmon Crunch roll was fresh and bright in color. They also have an adorable selection of sweets including wasabi peanuts. I went with the tried & true chocolate chip cookie. 😉 Give this place a shot. You won’t be disappointed!!

Downtown’s best kept Japanese secret. After eating here, paying Ten’s prices seems simply criminal. Amazing, fresh, well-presented sushi and Japanese entrees at unbelievably affordable prices. The dining room is cozy and cute, too. As others have mentioned, the owner/chef prepares *everything*, so you must be patient, but it pays off. Try the avocado, mango, and shrimp spring roll!
