Good Food, Slow Service, Rude Manager. We had a 6:30 reservation. One person in our party was late but we had taken a picture of the menu and we placed his order along with ours by 7pm. The last dish came out at 8:20. We ate our food, paid the bill and were gone at 8:45. They wanted the table at 8:30. The manager tapped his watch at us and cornered the man who arrived late (but whose order had already been placed). The food was good, the place too noisy and the manager completely rude and insulting when in fact, his service was too slow.We will never go there again. Charlottesville has too many great restaurants.
Food was great. Lots of good choices on the menu. A couple of hiccups in service (long wait for wine, waitress didn’t hear me order one dish), but made up for by multiple sincere apologies snd consistently good food.
Food was amazing. Felt like there was a chef right there making a meal for me. Food was served as soon as it was done; it really bugs me when the food sits around.The dishes were very simple with only a 3 or 4 primary flavors for each dish, but they went together so perfectly, making each dish interesting. Each dish we got was entirely different and had its own unique flavor pairings. No one trick pony here.Come here before they change anything!
