Not for dinner. Having had a very good experience at the noon buffets here, I expected a similar experience at dinner. WRONG. At 6 PM with few people there (a clue), service was very slow, incomplete (water with no ice, bead with no butter and only when asked and then after the meal was presented, and somewhat inattentive. The special for dinner (go with the chef selection, yes) was baby back rib with mashed potatoes and asparagus. The ribs were almost meatless (the sauce was very good) and required a steak knife to separate. The asparagus was grilled, nice touch, but were served burned! The potatoes were OK. Good water! My companion had the port chop selection. A large portion nicely presented. Tough and required a steak knife (recommended by the wait staff!!) as well. Next time in the area we’ll try 5 guys for a burger!
The Pointe at Omni Hotel. The Crab Bisque tasted like a butter stick. The Crab Dip was spicy/peppery, yet it didn’t list that in the description on the menu. My vegetables of carrots & squash were too hard to stab with a fork. Very, very disappointed in the food quality – especially for the price. However, the waitstaff and service was wonderful and attentive through the entire meal. It almost made you not want to complain about how the meal sucked.
