A small chain based in Texas that does well at serving better-than-average (and by average, I of course mean KFC) chicken. The fries are a simple side. The Texas Toast is terrific. However, what will keep you coming back for more and more and more is their addicting sauce. For a quick service/fast food establishment, what you are getting is above the bar set by its competition. I highly recommend this fast food joint to anyone traveling through Charlottesville.
Don’t listen to the haters. Cane’s chicken is kickin’, sauce is the boss, and they like to boast about their toast. I love this place. Food is well priced and portioned, always fresh, never frozen. You’ll always get greeted by friendly staff, and if there’s ever a problem with you food, they’ll fix it! They give back to the community and care about their employees. You gotta love this place!
I don’t get it. This has got to be some of the worst food available in Charlottesville. Anyone that thinks this is good food has no taste. I have tried the chicken fingers on several occasions and it is the same everytime. Dry overcooked chicken fingers. Underseasoned with no flavor. Dipping them in the Caines sauce make them a little better, but the sauce is only slightly better than the chicken fingers. You want better fast food chicken, go to Popeye’s next door. Moist and juicy and flavorful. Everything Caine’s is not.
Danger. I love raising Cane’s juicy chicken tenders. Love the Texas toast. Their slaw is gross but who cares? One caveat, every time I have eaten this food, I get indigestion and heartburn which I had never in all of my 36 years gotten before. I eat fried food pretty often, so it makes me wonder what the heck is doing this to me in their food. Unfortunately, I can’t risk it and won’t be back:(
Great food and friendly service. Not too expensive, melt in your mouth tenders with an awesome original dipping sauce. Definitely worth repeat business.
Seriously?!!!! No way! Go to chic fil a!!!! Better food and better priced!
