Horrible. This is the LAMEST place i’ve ever been. the burgers BLOW…the fries SUCK. burgr king is much better.
Great basic burger and fry place. Fast, hot and more fries than you can eat. Close second to 5 guys in the genre.

Top notch. Great burger in a friendly down home setting. Can see why there are a lot of regulars. They figured out how to make burgers in the 1930s and continue to make them the same way. Great place!
Good food good service no frills. If you like lace napkins and someone to sweep crumbs off your table every time you get up…this is not the place for you. Tis is a great burger joint with really reasonableprices (especially for cville!). The double cheeseburger sub iw awsome! Friendly service and nascar/bar decoratons. No thick Kobe beef pattiers, newp.Order a double bacon cheeseburger lettuce tomato mayo or mustard. Feel free to hold the LTM. Otherwise, you really haven’t eaten at the Riverside, cause that’s their trademark. That n’ Nascar n’ sweet waitresses n’ cold domestic beer (I’m with the 39-year regular who misses the old place down by the riverside / down by the riverside though. Laundry, burgers, & ammo–one stop shoppin’!)If that doesn’t sound like your thing, well, now ya’ know. You are missing out on a damn fine cheeseburger though….
Average fries, excellent burgers. Went on a Friday night and it was packed. Had to wait awhile but I was in no hurry so I didn’t mind at all. I will be back for sure.
