Good bar. Never had the food!
I had an amazing experience at Shebeen today. The food, service, and atmosphere were excellent. We tried the peri peri chicken, lamb curry, and samosas. Can’t wait to return!
Strong unique flavors, excellent lamb. We had the lamb curry potjie and sasatie- both excellent. Every component, from the meat to the side dishes, was well planned, well-executed and scrumptious!
Wonderful. We did not have a reserv action and they seated us in awa I thing,served drinks and apps. The food was scrumptous, service was great. I wish they has a place like this in Philadelphia.
Great food & service- needs cleaning. We went for dinner and tried several appetizers, soup and dessert, we loved everything we had even the coffee was good! The server was friendly and helpful since it was our first time eating at Shebeen she made some good suggestions. I must say though after looking around a bit I did notice that the ceiling tiles had mold from an old leak in the ceiling and that the dividers near the wait station had never been dusted- the place needs a good cleaning. The atmosphere was nice and the place was cute, I just don’t know if I would return since it was pretty dirty- made me question the cleanliness of the kitchen.
Very good. The brunch menu is nothing special but the dinner menu is great. The bar crowd was obnoxious one night and was really kind of a downer on the whole experience but we will go there again.
