Great food, attentive service, fun drinks and chill atmosphere. They have semi-outdoor eating with a bar with swings (see picture). It’s a covered area outside with a bar. The food is always really good and there’s a rather large menu. There’s actually a really good brunch menu that I always forget about. I’ve had the peri-peri chicken (very spicy) and the lamb kabob. Both are really good. The lamb was cooked to perfection, so that it just falls off the skewer. My husband has had the shepherds pie and steak pie and our friend had the sausage and mash. The shepherds pie is one of my favorites. Everything is unique, well flavored and really yummy. I recommend the mealie pap as a side which is similar to cheesy grits. I’ve never needed a reservation here. Highly recommend this restaurant.
