Never let us down. A real bistro feel…the bustle is good and so is the food
Good, but maybe not up to the hype?. Was really looking forward to trying Tavola. Our first experience was good, but not incredible. Our $100 bottle of wine was served quite cold but at least was decanted. Grilled mussels are a popular appetizer – we tried it, perhaps B+, better named mussels in scant brown butter but well-executed. As for entree the scallops over beet risotto was very good and inventive. Linguine with clams was very salty but overall good. The best part of the meal was the dessert – limoncello cheesecake – which was ABSOLUTELY excellent. Will be back, but not in a terrible hurry.
