Awesome sandwiches!. I’ve never been disappointed by the Virginian – one of Charlottesville’s oldest restaurants, and a Corner staple. The sandwiches are always amazing. They have the best burgers in town, and the crab cake sandwiches and pulled pork are also great. The beer selection is good (even if they don’t quite know how to pour a Guinness correctly). The only thing to be aware of is this: unless you tell them otherwise, if you order jalapenos on your sandwich they will be RAW. If you ask them to grill them first, they will.
