Excellent for Lunch. I had lunch here recently with some friends and have to say it was pretty good. Not mind blowing, but definitely pretty good. This was my first visit to this location and Bakers Crust appears to have changed a little since the last time I walked through their doors. I was expecting just to order a sandwich from the counter and sit down, and the company appears to have grown up and turned into a full service restaurant.Our party of 3 was seated in a cozy dining room. The lights were dim and there is a fireplace in the center. After looking over the expanded menu I selected a Pepperoni, Sausage & Portabella Wood-Fired Pizza. My co-worker ordered a pizza as well and his wife had a seafood salad and soup combo.The lunch was good and our server was friendly and for the most part attentive, however service was on the slow side. The restaurant was only half full throughout our visit and it still took us a full hour and half from start to finish. Not good for a lunch hour… Hopefully they were only having a bad day in that respect.All in all I’ll most certainly give them another try soon as I’ve always been a fan of the various breads they make, especially their Jalapeo & Cheddar. If your out in the Greenbrier area of Chesapeake you may want to check them out. You can find them in the shopping center with Target, Barnes & Noble & Best Buy.
Better than Norfolk. A lot nicer than the Norfolk location. Great options for lunch – grass fed beef, spinach, etc. Great service and cozy atmosphere. I would go back!

Yummy Dinner. We ate there this evening and one of the best parts was the knowledgeable server we had… he had a truly interactive nature…..his name was Luigi….He made appropriate suggestions and was completely aware of the entire menu…..we both had their Tomato & Cheese Soup and it tasted very good. My date had their Four Cheese Pizza which she raved about. I had their California Rueben Panini which was made with Turkey Pastrami on Caraway Rye Bread, it was very good. But I think that their prices are somewhat high considering the nature of our meal that we had…..when we go back in the future, we must have Luigi as our server, otherwise we will go elsewhere…..Thank you Luigi!
I ate here a few months ago and will not return. Our server was very unfriendly and the prices were ridiculous for what they serve. The food was mediocre at best, nothing to spread the word about in my opinion. When the check came I felt a tad bit ripped off.
