Went to eat at the Black Pelican yesterday. Wait staff is very friendly hardworking and helpful which is the only thing that would bring me back. The food left something to be desired and the owner I guess was on her phone the whole time and never visited our table to see how we were doing. This is supposed to be a first class restaurant however it seems that management and ownership seems no more interested in customers than I-Hop managers. Not sure we will return.
We enjoyed our experience at Black Pelican. The waitress was friendly. The food was excellent. I recommend Tuna Nagana which was delicious. The Salmon Fresh Catch was very good. The Black Pelican also offers a good wine selection at reasonable prices. All in all this is a nice place to eat.

My family and I went to Black Pelican yesterday evening. The food was very well prepared and their she crab soup is out of this world! The service was a tad slow, but it was packed.
Went for lunch today. Ordered fried filet and fried shrimp baskets. Food was fresh and tasty (though somewhat small portions for the price). Love the interior nautical decor, though the hard and uncomfortable aluminum seats for the tables need to go. Service was excellent. Also, no public WiFi available for the customers, a must in this day and age.
