Not satisfied. I am a dessert fanatic! Unfortunately their cupcake did not live up to the hype. I tried the lemon flavor. Although very pretty…the cake was dry, stiff and lacked flavor. However, the icing was very good. I would have just preferred the cake to be better….alot better. I do not recommend.

This place has delicious cupcakes, and a great central location in Chesapeake. Both their filled cupcakes and regular cupcakes are delicious, & always taste fresh. They’re cheaper than their local competition on Battlefield Blvd, albeit their cupcakes are a teeny bit smaller (but still worth it). There are only 2 things that I wish they had that they dont: 1- mini cupcakes (so I can try more flavors in a smaller size!) and 2- sale cupcakes (meaning ones that might be a day old, or leftover from a catering order). But all in all this is a great little spot in the Greenbrier area!

Best cupcakes in Hampton Roads!. Buttercream Cupcake Cafe is the best cupcakery in the region! The cakes are fresh and moist, the icing is perfect, and there are a variety of flavors available each day! The staff is also very warm and accommodating and I look forward to watching this company continue to grow and thrive. Definitely a must try, but get there early–their cupcakes sell out everyday!
