Very helpful customer service!. I would like to commend 4 employees who helped me with a multiple order in the shopping area. They went to the backroom to search for items I may be interested in. and searched the sales floor. They were very enthusiastic and professional. I did not get their names, but would like to thank them. I called back to ask them to hold more items for the next day. July 16, 2014 at 8:27pm. Great place. I go to Cracker Barrel twice a week and find the food and service outstanding. I especially love the chicken pot pie, just wish thjey offered it more than once a week.
Went this evening for one of their weekday special dinners (in this case, the Buttered Baked Chicken). You guessed it…@ 6:45PM they ran out of it. This Is NOT the first time this has happened!!22 Oct, 2012I love the varied menu and the daily specials. Only complaint, NO WiFi!! Why? Many customers would love to access their emails, etc. Cracker Barrel needs to get in touch with the times and provide WiFi to their customers.
MGMT. Every time I’ve been to the Cracker Barrel in Chesapeake, there is the most friendly and very helpful greeter, I believe her name is Katie. I have overheard and seen a male manager screaming in her face!! He is horrible and he needs reprimanded!! I don’t care what she did, that is uncalled for especially in front of all of us. Other than that, I love the food and the service!!
Good pancakes….good service….food comes out fast…ordered scrambled eggs it seemed small for two eggs…no biggie though…
To echo another review, the food is great but tge service is horrible. In 14 years of living in this area, the only resturaunt worse is Max & Erma’s at the Doubletree.
Sweet Tea Please!. There are some places you go to that the food is always good – and though not a 4 star high rank quality good — its the type that you go back to again and again. Cracker Barrel tends to be one of those places.The best item on the menu is the chicken pot pie – and though only on there once a week – it is the ultimate in good eating. The chicken and dumplings are the staple of choice on any stop in when chicken pot pie is not on the menu. But the meatloaf, chicken fried steak, and pot roast are all worth contenders of the really good eating choices you will have to make a decision on. Took an out of country friend there last time so she could sample fried okra and collared greens and biscuits and gravy. Great introduction to southern style foods and big plate eating. Have found the biscuits and sawmill gravy or the sausage biscuits to be a great breakfast stop in food. But it is always a hard choice when peach pancakes are on the menu…
