They’ve moved. Shirley the lady who owned Nix bought the old Rodmans Bones and Buddies building across from Maryview Hospital. The restaurant is now called Hometown Diner. All of the staff went with her. The food is more fabulous than ever and the newly renovated restaurant looks fabulous! Check them out.13 Jan, 2012YOU’VE GOTTA TRY THIS PLACE!!!!. I eat here multiple times each week and have for years. This is by far my favorite restaraunt in the area. The service is great and after going there only a couple of times the friendly waitstaff’ learned my name and always make me feel at home. The food is wonderful and on the very rare occasion I’ve ever had a complaint the owner or staff have made it right. I have never had a better omelette and their sanwiches and homemade dinners can’t be beat. If you go you have to try one of the homemade soups they are absolutely out of this world. This place is a hidden gem people have to try it!

My wife and I have eaten at Nixs about 100 times or more. B/L/ and dinner for years. If you are looking for fast service and reasonably priced GOOD food. You have found this gem. The owner is personable, kind and ready to fix YOU a meal! All you have to do is Ask! Don’t be shy – talk to the Red Head :-)!!!!

An out of the way place you definitely want to find. You will not be disappointed by anything you order. Staff are very friendly. Some of the best prices around. A wonderful place to eat. Highly recommended.
