Rude, Arrogant & Pricy!. There is a young Vietnamese male waiter at this place who was so rude and arrogant. On a day when it was 28 degrees outside and freezing cold they had the door partially open and the fan on inside to make it worse. I politely requested to close the door fully and turn the fan off, he refused to do it and gave me the dirty looks. He ignored us and did not come to take our order for 20 min. I had to go and ask him to take our order. Food was unreasonably delayed and so was the check. We felt like we were unwanted and unwelcomed. The food is good and the older gentleman who used to wait was very good but he now cooks inside. Restaurant is a part of hospitality industry and I have never been to one who was so awfully rude. We will never go back again. It’s their loss.

I had a delightful experience here. The staff made me feel like an honored guest. The food was excellent and I had a delicious and beautiful Vietnamese jello for dessert! This place lives up to and exceeds expectations.
Friendly service, family feeling, great food. Chesapeake has slowly but steadily expanded it’s international cuisine offerings and Pho Dalat has happily joined this trend. Most recently three friends and I all went to Pho Dalat for a late lunch and were greeted with hearty broths with a slightly stronger sweetness than it’s competition Pho 79 (which in it’s own right is delicious) and a distinct complexity. Dishes offered are wide ranging, the Chicken and pork options are both delicious and are grilled on an open grill, my personal favorite the vietnamese beef stew combines large sliced carrots, rice or egg noodles, with deliciously tender cubes of beef. Drink options are pretty standard fair, but just as with all the dishes were well executed. Young coconut water, lychee soda, and Vietnamese coffee were all available.Recommended.

This place is amazing ! Their broth is a taste adventure ! It is so amazing with hints of exotic spices that easily excite the palate . It was my first time trying this place and I’m regretting that I haven’t been here sooner . If you haven’t visited this little treasure of a place and you are looking for something new,fresh and exciting to try then this is it !
