The food as well as the service, was absolutely top notch! Very attentive staff, who genuinely seemed grateful for your business. The food was fantastic as well! Had the Iron Man Roll and Chef Special Roll and both were great.

Pleasantly surprised by the excellent sushi and service. I will dine here again. Having lived in Japan and eaten at tons of sushi places, I would recommend they change the music to Japanese. Not sure what was playing, but it threw off the Japanese vibe/atmosphere I was trying to experience.
Great service and excellent food. Iron man roll is my favorite. Twin Towers roll is also very good. They always bring us a free roll. We are regulars! Best Sushi in town.
Best Sushi I have found in chesapeake. Yama is a great expierence all around. From the amazing fresh sushi to the excellent staff (super Freindly and helpful) to the awesome atmosphere. I have had a lot of sushi in chesapeake and this is my #1 I highly recommend Yama Sushi to anyone who wants to have a great time.
SUPER!!. My boyfriend and I stopped by Yama Sushi for a quick bite one night. I have never been so pleasantly surprised in my life! The service was excellent–prompt, pleasant, and very friendly. The food was incredible, all fresh and the correct temperatures. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxing, a great place for a date. The prices were very reasonable.A+, will come again.
