The parents ran a good restaurant that the child could not maintain. The food is mediocre and the service is poor. It is good to try but also good to know when to quit.
Great Chinese Food for the Area. The title here is actually kind of damning this place with faint praise. There is NO good Chinese food in the NRV except for here. This makes it hard for me to judge whether or not Charlie’s is *actually* good, or if it’s just good by comparison to all the other badness in the area. Portions are pretty good though, but I feel like the prices are too high even then. The restaurant itself looks like it hasn’t been touched since about 1985, which makes for good laughs.

Excellent!. IMHO, the best Chinese food in the area. The staff is extremely helpful & friendly. I have been going here for years and recommend it to everyone!
Really?. This place is an insult to food-eaters everywhere. Worst food I have ever paid for. Actually, worst food I’ve ever eaten. The end. Don’t go.
Charlie’s has by far some of the best Chinese food in the area. With an average entree cost under $10 it is also affordable on a college student’s budget. This combined with the friendly and accomidating staff make Charlie’s one of the best restaurant experiences I’ve had in a long while.
