Very very good Mexican restaurant. Service was fast, friendly and very attentive. Food was exactly what we expected. Fajitas for 2 we perfect and served on a super sizzling hot plate that remained hit throughout our meal. The wait staff worked together to ensure that anything that was needed was brought or cleared from our table in a super fast effort. The dessert, fried ice cream, is to die for. The best we have had in a very very long time. On top of it all, super cost effective meal for medium to large families. We are from MD and would highly recommend El Mariachi to any visiting VT parents or future students. Just a quick jump from campus.

Good Mexican food. So far the best mexican food we’ve found in the area. We just moved from Texas and were spoiled on awesome mexican food. This restaurant was a nice surprise. The atmosphere was quiet and the wait staff was polite.
Amazing Chicken. I have been twice to El Mariachi, the first time I had the Pollo Fundido, which was amazing and the second time I had the Arroz con Pollo, also a winner. The prices are awesome as well.The beer is cold, and the drink prices are fair. We never had to wait for a table, and the service was prompt and the food came out really fast. A++

Yummy. Cheap and delicious.Also, cheapest draft beer in the area. $3.95 for a 34 oz Newcastle!
