Great pizza in the Church Hill neighborhood. Really liked the vibe of the place and everyone was very friendly. The pizza is really good and now one of my favorites in Richmond. Great crust and fresh toppings. It was really hot when I went but I wish the wine was served a little cooler. Although I am just nitpicking since the oven must generate a lot of heat. Can’t wait to go back!
I went to meet a friend after researching that this place was on the hot list of RVA. We were inclined to try the Arugula white pizza…. Which I was skeptical about but still wanted to try something new. Delish! Just so light and tasty! The crust is amazing! Will be returning…. this place was amazing. Small but cozy which I like. Great addition to the RVA food scene.
Good pizza. Went here a couple weeks ago and the pizza we ordered was tasty and the crust was really good, we liked the relaxed dining room. I want to go back and try the arugula pizza everyone was ordering it around us!
Maybe the food is good unfortunately i haven’t been able to try it. If you’re going to say you’re open then be open.
Great Food, Great Service. Had dinner with some friends at Anthony’s on the Hill a few nights ago. What a great night. The exterior decor is a bit generic, so I wasn’t sure what to expect, but inside we were greeted with excellent service, friendly faces and great aroma’s coming from the kitchen. Our group had a bit of everything from pizza, to eggplant parm, salads and my personal favorite, the Saltimbocca. It was full of rich flavors that will definitely have me going back. The pizzas are made from scratch, and the owner, a former bread-baker of some renown here in RVA makes his own crusts. Combined with their fresh toppings, you won’t be disappointed!!! We asked for a suggestion on the wine and were recommended an excellent Italian red (sorry, I can’t remember the name) but it was excellent…enough that we went back for a second bottle! Our experience was great…I will definitely go back again!
AWESOME!!!. This place is fantastic! I’ve finally found a REAL Pizza in this town. The pasta is rich and flavorful and portions are generous. I had the Eggplant Parm and was transported from downtown Richmond to Little Italy in NYC! The people are very friendly and the service was great! You gotta try Anthony’s!
Delicious!!. Love the pizza and fresh salads at Anthony’s on the Hill. The white pizza with arugula is my favorite. The sausage pizza is also wonderful. Great crust from a great baker! We can’t wait to go back and try the wonderful looking pasta dishes.
