Working my way through DC’s Ramen Shops and so pleased to have found this small neighborhood place. We met the owner one of two women self proclaimed as the Ramen Girls, and boy have they aced the broth. The studying she said they did on their trip to Japan has really paid off. We ate a pork and chicken broth Ramen bowl and each offered great earthy deep flavor. The chicken Ramen had meat that clearly fell off the bone tender. Unfortunately the pork slices were not tender as compared to other Ramen Shops I’ve eaten. A minor point also was the amount of noodles were a bit less than other shops.Finally their steamed buns were fantastic. This place is all about comfort food and with the friendly service and prices you can’t go wrong.
