Saturday night at La Tasca. We had reservations and arrived early. We were promptly seated. They weren’t busy, but we were given a table for us two in a path of busy wait staff. We were on the 3rd floor where a live musical group was playing. They were so loud that I had to yell at my spouse in order to hold a conversation. Fortunately, they didn’t play the entire time we were there. Our drinks and food arrived quickly. we had to wait for our server to finally come so we could ask for our check. The food was good. I’d definitely request a better table if we return that is on the 1st floor, away from live music. .
Very good. Great staff. Good proportions.
Loved it….. Had happy hour Thursday night, had a cheese board that was just like back in spain. there wine was my favorite yummm!!! but the sangria was fantastic as well and the prices the best of all, good food good service not to much$$$ cost. my kind of place .
Horrible services! My famil…. Horrible services! My family and I went there for fathers day. It took forever to get our food. My father’s veggie tapa was over salted we sent it back and it took another 20 minutes to get a new one! I had to ask a waiter when would we get the new veggie tapa. Our waiter was never around…actually no workers were around on the main floor. And when they were out front they were talking among themselves and hangout. I actually saw this family walk in the restaurant and then walked becaused no body was around to service them. It was the worse service ever! Not going back…it sucks because the food was good.
Not authentically Spanish. I’ve lived in Spain and this place missed the mark in so many ways. The worst example? The Tortilla Espanola had runny eggs when it should have been firm. I was pretty horrified at that.
Tasteless. The food here is just very bland and much of it over-fried. Of the 7 things we got, only the meatballs had any flavor. Overpriced, not authentic. Try Las Tapas in Old Town, or Jaleo downtown instead.
Bad Food for the High Prices. Bad Sangria and little food. We left after the appetizer to nearby restaurant for dinner. Also, the bathrooms are in the third floor…a whole journey. Would not recommend it and I don’t plan to go back.
