Service was excellent! I read the other reviews, and frankly was reluctant to try this place because of the negative comments on service. I went on an early Sunday afternoon with a party of 11 and the service couldn’t have been better. The food was excellent and a little pricey. I’ll be back.
Promising menu poorly executed. Eggs arrived cold. Service inattentive.
Food is good but overpriced, service lacking. The food is decent, but very overpriced, particularly baked goods. Servers are poorly trained.
The service and the food here leave a LOT to be desired.
Vapid. Not a welcoming place. Empty tables, wait staff staring at customers. Cardboard stale pastries. You HAVE to be waited on…. All I wanted to do was order a pastry and a coffee and sit at one of the many tables. This place is nothing spectacular. Forget About it.
On my first visit…. I finally got a chance to stop in for a late breakfast. anything on the menu except the Dinner section could be ordered, so there were a lot of choices. The coffee is drunk in handless cups almost like a soup bowl. I had one of the open-faced sandwiches, a chicken and mozzarella tartine. It was very good and the presentation was nice too. Service this visit was friendly — not super-fast, but not slow either. You pass by the pastries on display as you enter and they look really good.
Ive been here several times and the service has been worse (slow, inattentive, errors) each time. Today was the final straw. I ordered an omelet. Waited 25 minutes. Omelet came, but made with egg whites. I asked about it and was told they had run out of whole eggs or something. I’d have preferred heaing that before I’d waited. Not going back.
