Restaurant can be hard to find and does not have the best decor but produces some great authentic Vietnamese food. I go for the Pho or their Vietnamese pancakes.
Good (full menu) Vietnamese restaurant in a neighborhood that only has 3 left (one is new) but used to have tons of Vietnamese options. The sour salmon soup is good. The pho is decent but there is a much better place for that in Courthouse. This restaurant is on a side street off of Wilson blvd. The food was better here many years ago. dcfud.com
17 years later we still go. This is our family resterant and we’ve been going for 17 years. They are great with kids and the food is terrific. The photos on the walls of visiting dignitaries are a kick.
I ordered the grilled pork with rice vermicelli. I have had this dish in many restaurants and most have been consistent. For me this dish missed the fresh herbs (mint, basil and cilantro). The pork was thick, chewy and missed the delicate seasoning that I am used to. For what I got, I found it overpriced.
Best crispy rolls on the planet!
Comfort Food for Cheap. Nothing better than a bowl of steaming broth and noodles on a chilly day. I recommend the beef or pork, shrimp was not as good. Kinda outdated atmosphere, but somehow it works. Service was good. Prices cheap. An awesome alternative to the more expensive nights out to be had in Clarendon.
This is the best Pho in the area, in my opinion and I’ve eaten at several, to include Viet House, Nam Viet and other pretenders to the crown. Interesting and very creative name. Light and delicate, yet intriguing Vietnamese cooking keeps its quality standards high; the food tastes incredibly good and the service is extremely friendly.
