Possibly the best brisket I’ve eaten in DC. Flavorful, juicy, you can cut it with a fork. And some fat that just makes it so good going down. BBQ sauce is a little sweet with some spice which you can add or leave off. Homemade pickles are tangy and crunchy. Also enjoyed a pork sausage with habanero and cheese. This was tasty but if you want hot you won’t get it. Enjoyed a nice side of corn with Jalapeo and cheese. Flavorful but again no heat. All n all worthwhile visit.
My wife and I had brunch here on a Saturday morning. Outstanding service. Fabulous food.. My wife had a Montecristo sandwich with beef brisket, I had a breakfast sandwich. The cheese grits are the best in the city, and the roasted brussels sprouts were outstanding. It’s a fun casual place inside.
