We were here for takeout, as it was a very small joint near our place in Arlington. The chef was very enthusiastic as he guided us through their vegetarian pizzas on offer.We went for the Spring veggie and the Garlic spinaci. My word, these are the best pizzas I have ever had. This made me a regular throughout the one week we were there.The garlic spinaci was mindblowing, with the perfect amount of spinach and garlic white sauce, added with the goodness of Pecorino Romano ( need I say more 😀 ). The mushrooms and onions were sauted with such finesse that I tried recreating the pizza at home, but looking to emulate Vikas Khanna didn’t turn out to be that good ( for the pizza ofcourse 😀 ).Nevertheless, I have been in search of the perfect pizza ever since, and nothing so far in Delhi or Chennai has matched up to what I had that night in D.C.
