They charged 18% Gratuity to 2 people ( me and wife)Staff is rude and unsophisticated. Food is way too expansive for what it is worth. Don’t order Tandoori since it don’t even come sizzling on hot iron plate.Tandoori was served cold. Curry to meat ratio is screwed up . Whether you order Vege ( Paneer) or Meat…….Chef is lazy to chop down the pieces…and the pieces are of the size of Jupiter.Suggestions ~~Deep Pocket ? –>Try Rasika (both) in DC Great food even if expansiveNot so Deep ? –> ~Bollywood Bistro ->ALL TIME FAV 🙂
Zaika is a very pleasant restaurant on the second level with a very nice balcony. The selection of food is also very good. My boyfriend and I had no issues navigating the menu and they was something for everyone. Their cocktail selection is also very good. The only problem with the restaurant is the service. The waiter appeared every few minutes to take our next order. It seemed like he was trying to get us to order dessert before we got our drinks. The restaurant was mostly empty when we were there and yet it felt like we were being rushed out the moment we arrived. Overall, food 5/5 and service 3/5.

Modern Indian chic layout, the staff was friendly, most of all the good was great. I highly recommend this Restuarant!
Bad Food and not so Good service. -Food is spoiled despite reminding the staff for twice the food item still served to the guest on Buffet-The front desk waiter was bad in communicating as we are two families and separate in anyway as it was not a party, he rudely disallowed us to use our gift certificate.-It was Sunday Buffet ( 09/07/2014- The Restaurant is well decorated and nice sitting ambiance, but food quality is sub standard
