Absolutely Delicious!!!. When it comes to spiedies, I have never tasted a more perfectly marinated and cooked piece of meat! Being from the same town as the chef, I grew up eating them and I will be honest: I am quite picky! While the chef has many different types of sandwiches on the menu, I decided to go with the original chicken spiedie (just the meat and the bread) and it was absolute perfection!! The chicken was moist and flavorful, and the bread was perfectly sliced and baked. There is honestly no point in buying one whenever I travel home to NY now!!! The chef has no doubt perfected the marinade recipe. I can’t wait to go back and try the pork spiedie next! Way to go guys! It’s so nice to have a taste of home nearby. I will spread the word that spiedies have officially made it to the DC Metro area!!
