Food Good, Service Inattentive & Strange. We found this place to be a nice local spot with what looked like a good menu. Salads were good. Entrees 50/50. Bolognese sauce was good, but the Veggie Lasagna had very tough and bitter eggplant throughout.Wait staff was ridiculously inattentive. There were at least three of them and the place isnt that big and yet we had to get up and ask to be waited on, get two forks to replace the ones they took with salads, and then when I explained how bad the eggplant was that I hadnt eaten, he literally asked me if I wanted to take it home with me. Really?If they get better wait staff and do a better job with the eggplant I would come back.
Bad service. After making a booking and arriving on time we waited just inside the restaurant to be seated. 4 of the staff walked past us multiple times without even looking at us. This continued for about 5 minutes. Eventually someone spoke to us and said they had no record of our booking (not particularly politely and certainly not apologetically). Thoroughly unimpressed we walked out and around the corner to Rhodeside Grill where we received friendly welcoming service, decent pub food and some nice classic cocktails. Not sure Il Radicchio deserve a second chance given their crummy service.
The service was great and the sauces with all you can eat pasta were extremly delicious. I was with 6 others and we all walked away full and satisfied and wanting to make this a favorite stop.
Over priced. This restaurant decided location was enough to inflate the prices… 8.95 for bruschetta? 18.95 for pasta? Crazy! I’ve been to Italy…this wasn’t even close.
The pizza is fabulous! Next time I prefer to order the pizza to go… service is terrible and other items on the menu are uneventful.
Food is good, service is not. My visit to Il Radicchio was less than stellar. Our orders were taken 20 minutes after being seated. After ordering, it took 30 minutes for the food to arrive. I would only dine at Il Radicchio again only if I was carrying out and only if I had called ahead.
