This place is a typical American roadside diner. Ive only been here for breakfast but the food was also typical of a roadside diner. Eggs slightly undercooked, bacon chewy instead of crisp, German fries undercooked. Its dirt cheap to eat here though so if youre ok with below average food, youll love it.
Great place to eat. My wife and I always try to stop by and grab bite while we are in Culpeper. What great cooking and wonderful service. It reminds us of the days gone by. Stop by.
Step back in time. Know those those diners in movies set in small towns from back in the day? that would be this place. The food is good, simple and country – priced accordingly. Simple breakfast dishes – eggs, pancakes, bacon, grits hash browns. Quality is much better than any chain breakfast joint. Biscuits are made from scratch in house. The coffee is strong and hot. When you ask for a large OJ you get a LARGE OJ. The service was attentive even for a busy weekend morning. If you are in Culpeper for breakfast, its a good choice.For the record I had the frost cafe special on the menu.
Good, Solid food. Don’t go to Frost’s expecting fine dining. It’s a neighborhood grill with basic food. Fresh cooked, Portions are substantial, prices are very reasonable. Breakfast time on weekends can leave you waiting for a booth/table. Eating at the counter let’s you watch the cooks prepare your food.
