I’ve eaten at this restaurant and I make sure to always visit when I’m in town. The Salmon Salad, the PotRoast and the Ravioli are amazing. The house salad alone is worth the trip. Great service, involved owners and nice decor make it a perfect eating experience.13 Dec, 2014Pot Roast. Amazing! No words- the meat was so tender and he sauce was rich and layered with flavor

Expensive mistake. I don’t know where to begin, the high prices, the mediocre food, the pushy and unorganized service or the lack of care for your customers. I understand that when I purchase food off a menu that has no prices I’m probably going to pay a high price. I’m ok with that as long as the quality of food matches the price. They are way off that mark. $50.00 for a ribeye that I could have bought at any cheep chain restaurant. Not to mention when my wife ordered it cooked medium it was served rare. When we asked to have it cooked more they came back with it and said next time ask for medium plus. I don’t care if I am wrong about the way it was cooked (which I wasn’t) don’t come back and tell me something stupid like that. I love prime rib, It is one thing that I order most when I go out. The prime rib I ordered from this restaurant was as bad as the ribeye my wife ordered. Thank god it was a little bit cheaper. I asked for medium and it came to me medium well. It tasted like meet that had been frozen and thawed. It certainly didn’t taste fresh, it was borderline dry. Prime rib should be juicy and melt in your mouth like butter. The servers were out of control and all over the place. It’s bad enough that we were sitting so close to the customers beside us but the servers kept crowding us as we’ll. it was a server free for all. A different person came to our table every few minutes. It was hard for us to enjoy what we could of the food.I would have said something while we were there but there was already an unhappy customer making a scene. When I spend $140.00 for two people I expect more than exceptional food and service, we received none. We live here in culpeper and were very excited about this restaurant. Not any more. There are many more choices for us, and this will never be one of them. If any one actually reads this email take it for what it’s worth. We are the consumer that bring the money into your business. You need to create a positive unforgettable experience so we will return and spend more of our money. Unfortunately I can’t make that costly mistake again.

Drop In. We had a coffee and dessert of apple crisp served outside at a bistro table. The table was set with a vase of fresh, fragrant flowers, linen table cover/napkins and delicious dessert…thank you!Diane and Ron

Not worth it!!. This review is for the Market not the restaurant…..the market has casual dining and pizza. It is the same owner as the restaurant. The staff is rude, bigoted and unprofessional.I would go to Frenchmen’s Quarter or Taste before going to this pedestrian classless joint.
