Attentive to food allergies. Food is ok and really expensive. Not with the cost. Servers were unable to answer basic questions about the menu; though they had memorized and delivered a friendly script. Nice, clean facility with spacious bar area. Hot sake was great.
Benihana Birthday Party. Benihana is another well dressed hot stove accident waiting to happen restaurant where a chef plays with your food making hearts out of rice, choo choo trains, and volcanos. If you want to watch a Hispanic guy chop up some Chinese food at a Japanese restaurant, this is for you. The restaurant is ok for parties, but not an everyday eat-out restaurant. I’d prefer the China King next to my place.Pros: Fun atmosphere, lots of parking, attentive staff.Cons: Might offend the elderly playing with the food, stove too close for friends that drink too much (hmm). Clinton’s Recommendations:If you have never been, this will be a treat. However, if you prefer hole-in-the-wall (were you thinking of Porky’s?), and not the big-box mega restaurant, this isn’t your thing.
