The menu points out a few favorite dishes, and I went with the cevapi on my first visit. The sausages were quite flavorful and not dry. The bread was freshly made and not too crusty. I had a beer (Sarajevsko Pivo) with dinner and it was served with a frosty glass – bonus points! I tried some of the grilled chicken from my friend’s plate and I really liked it as well. I will have to go back to try the chicken shish kabobs. The baklava was some of the best I’ve ever had and it was oozing honey out all sides. The server was very friendly. Just one thing: if you want tap water, make sure you specifically say that or they may bring you bottled water which is $1.99. I loved the food and there are other things on the menu I’d like to try so I plan to come back.
A very nice older couple from Bosnia run this little restaurant on the corner of warwick and bland. Great food if your the adventurous type who loves interesting and unique food. The menu is marked with recommended classic Bosnian dishes and we took the first two that were recommended to us. The food was made fresh (though we were the only ones there at the time) and you could tell these people come from a rich and generous culture because they are quick to recommend items and bring you samples to try. We loved it and will return with friends.
